Na Chhat Hai, Na Deewaarna
(there is no roof or walls in d schools)


Na chhat hai, na deewaarna
(there is no roof or walls)
Na koi table-kursi, na koi khiddki
(Neither any table nor any window pains)
Kacha farsh, na chaadar-dari na chataai
(the floor is muddy & nothing is there to sit on)
Chhutti ho gai, jad v baarish aai
(school closes whenever it rains)

Na khaanna, na paanni
(neither bread nor water is there)
Na likhai-paddaai
(no teaching is anywhere)
Na koi samjhey gal
(no one(management) understands)
Na kisi neyn gal samjhaai
(no one tries to make them(management) understand)

Aai election, neta aaye
(in d election leaders usually come)
Kaapiyna kuj kitaabna layaaye
(bring some notebooks & books as well)
Inj nahin banndi gal
(this can not solve d purpose)
Eh gal ihna nu kaunn samjhaaye
(who will tell them)

Khaa gaye chandey, mandey bandey
(the corrupt people owns the school funds)
Paisa kha gaye building da
(they even owns the building funds)
Bachchyna da raashan v kha gaye
(they owns the bread of the children)
Besharmna nu sharam na aaye
(they are d shameless people)

Bevakoof koi hoye tna samjhaaiye
(we can educate d innocent)
Kis-kis dey asi terley paaiye
(we can not approach all of them)
Kis-kis nu asi matha laaiye
(we can not quarrel with all of them)
Samajhdaarna nu kaunn samjhaaye
(we can not educate the clever some)

Bhavikh desh da bachchyna sangh hai
(the future of the Country is wid the children)
Bachchyna dey naal aaye khush-haali
(the happiness is also wid the them)
Sangh bachchyna dey saavan-bhaadno
(the spring is wid the children)
Bachchyna dey he naal diwali
(Diwali is also wid them)

Jis desh da bachchpan anpadd hai
(the country whose childhood is illiterate)
Os desh de Ram karey rakhvaali
(May God bless that country)
Jis desh da bachchpan bhukha hai
(the country whose childhood is hungry)
Buddaape de osdey firr baat nirali
(the oldhood of that country is likely to be miserable)

Jehdde school chalaandey neyn
(those who run d schools)
Garibna nu jo paddaandey neyn
(those who teach d poor children)
Kariye salaam hazaar ohna nu
(we salute them thousand times)
Jehdde chandey nahin khaandey neyn
(those who don't own the funds)
